Creation's Parables: Genesis and Standard Science, Sung as One

Stop arguing!  Just sing the story!

Creation’s Parables is a new interpretation of Genesis 1-11, where the Bible and standard science describe the same creation.  The stories outline history from the Big Bang, through the evolution of everything, up to the rise of the first civilizations.  Science then fills in all the wonderful details.  Using nature as interpreter, the “creation myths” become natural history.  Miraculous!

Only two things obstruct harmony: our understanding of the universe and the Greek philosophy of a “perfect creation.”  Scientists slowly rejected perfection from their views and, at the same time, began to understand enough to interpret the texts.  Now it is the church’s turn.

The ancient writers could not have comprehended the actual science; thus harmony lets these stories stand as evidence of divine inspiration.  In Creation’s Parables a clearer view of God develops.  All of creation is one, as its Creator is one.  His power spans the universe, yet He chooses intimacy with humans.  This is the Father Jesus adored.  This God cares for you.
